Man arrested with dead baby
Ajiboye Emmanuel who boarded a transport with a dead infant wrapped in a polythene pack for custom purposes, has been captured by the Ogun State Police Command.
The 42-year-old man's capture came after kindred travelers in a transport he boarded at Sapade carport in Remo hub of the state, on December 22, cautioned the Police at Isara Division following the smell exuding from the pack which stimulated their doubt.
The State's Police PRO, Abimbola Oyeyemi who affirmed the presume's capture, said ;
"Upon the data, the DPO of Isara, Yusuf Taiwo, drove policemen to the scene where the suspect was speedily captured".
"On cross examination, the presume asserted that he was originating from Offa in Kwara State going to Lagos where he proposed to cover the child."
The speculate whose reaction wasn't palatable, was brought down Isara Division for promote examination by the Police who are presently attempting to decode if the infant was murdered for custom purposes.
The Commissioner of Police, Ahmed iliyasu, has likewise requested the quick exchange of the suspect to murder segment of the state criminal examination and knowledge division for legitimate examination.
